Golf - Tuesday 24th July 2012

After checking radar screens and weather forecasts early this morning I thought that we just might get away with having a game of golf rain free - but not so.  The course was very wet from previous days rain and although we only had light rain today it had no where to go but to sit on top and make it heavy going.

We did have some good scores in and some good highlights so it was not all bad. My playing partners were Kath Small & June Bowen and we did have some great highlights with Kath coming in the winner of Div 2 having 7 pluses during the match and June Bowen winning the Great Grandma's trophy and having 6 pluses during the match (must have been the company).

The Golf Event of the day was a Ladies Single Par + Grandma & Great Grandma's trophies.

We had 60 starters.
