Golf - Sunday 8th July 2012

We had a beautiful sunny day for golf on the village green today.  The course was still heavy from recent rains but the greens were beautiful and in general the course was in good order.  We need some more wind and sunshine to dry it out and the course will be at it's beautiful best.

Our playing partners were Geoff & Helen Darkes who are relatively new Members of the club.  We had a good day with some great highlights which included a birdie from Geoff at the 5th and a nearest the pin at the 8th from Helen.

The Golf Event of the day was a Single Stableford + 2 Ball Aggregate Mixed Men and Ladies.

We had 76 starters with 7 visitors from Everglades, Shelly Beach, Taree, Terrigal & Bermuda Rum USA
