There was a bit of winter chill to the breeze today but thankfully no more rain. The course was still wet underfoot but the wind will dry that out if we do not have follow up rain.
The Golf Event of the day was a Ladies Single Stableford + Vets in Conjunction (2nd Round of the CCWGA Brooch)
We had 71 starters.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Ronda Jordon had 2/5 at the 14th and 3/4 at the 12th; Doreen Trigg had a 4 pointer at the 17th; Felicity Mead had a great drive to the 8th green and won nearest the pin; Sue Hutton, Lesley Gregory & Lea Southon's highlight was reaching the 19th; Elizabeth McNamara had a gobbler on the 11th; Norma Cubis had 4/4 on the 7th, 4/4 on the 9th, 3/3 on the 8th and 3/3 on the 14th; Annie Brink had a par on the 8th; Glennis English had three 3 pointers in a row at the 13th, 14th, 15th; Lynn Puiatti had 4 pointers at the 7th, 16th and 17th in her 40 points; Faye Levenspiel had a 3 pointer on the 1st and 4/4 on the 9th, Kath Payn had a birdie on the 17th.
Another highlight is the news that Doon Janson is a Great Grandmother to a new baby boy. Congratulations Doon!
