Golf - Sunday 5th June 2011

Our course was still very wet underfoot even though we had sunshine and blue skies all day - at least that is my excuse for an ordinary score.   It was actually a lovely day with the greens in good condition if just a little long.  Some of the bunkers were deemed out of play & we had preferred lies throughout the green because of all the rain damage from recent rains.

Our playing partners for the day were Richard & Leonie Casey who were great company.  We did have some highlights from each of us with Peter being the player of the day with some great shots to the green.

The Golf Event of the day was a Medley Team Stableford 1 score to count + Single Stableford for Men and Ladies.

We had 103 starters with 6 visitors from Everglades, Kempsey, Lane Cove, PGA, Terrigal & Toukley + Pennants players.
