14TH HOLE:

BALLS WENT TO: + 10 on a countback
Because this was a team event there was no handicapping today.
HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY AS REPORTED TO ME: Ronda Jordon had a birdie on the 8th; Jan Fitzgerald had a nice 4 on the 17th; Leanne O'Donoghue hit a lovely 'sandy' out of the bunker on the 11th into the hole for a birdie; Di Thomlinson had three birdies; Georgina Lamb had a birdie on the 8th; Linda Rankin had a birdie on the 6th.
My playing partners today were Kay Adams, Wendy Stapleton and Robin Incoll. We had a lovely day and like everyone else we were battling with the heat towards the end. Our Team did not have any wipes on any of the holes and finished with a commendable +10. We all contributed to the score and got some nice putts in to save a + at times.
The Ladies Committee are currently running a raffle to support the Horsham (Victoria) Golf Club after their losses in the recent bushfires that devastated the area. We still have next week to show our support for this raffle so be sure to get plenty of tickets. The members have shown good support so far so there should be a substantial donation made to this worthy cause.

Hi Jan,
I like to check the golfers blogs regularly and really appreciate having the names on the photos. My Gosford friends talk about people doing clever things and with titles on the photo I check that I have the right person in mind.
Keep up the good work.
