F-Troop Morning - Peter Martin, Ron Gowing, Kevin O’Brien, Trevor Harrison, Rob Benson, John Hollebon (Toddy, Jan Martin)
After more inches of rain the course was very wet and we were not able to take heavy vehicles onto the course.
We had seven volunteers and were able to do several projects working our way around the restrictions.
On hand we had Trevor Harrison, Kevin O’Brien, Rob Benson, Toddy, Ron Gowing, John Hollebon, Peter Martin and Jan Martin.
Projects worked on were Tree Maintenance at the back of the clubhouse, firewood preparation, cleaning up at the front of the clubhouse, paths to the 1st and 10th tees and wedding garden area, trimming and tidying up the front street garden, dead heading agapanthus at the men’s 15th tee garden, removal of seeding palm trees at the Men’s 15th tee garden, a start made on weed removal at the Men’s 15th tee garden.
We were a little wet and bedraggled at the end of the morning’s work and appreciated our morning tea of fresh sandwiches.
