Garden at the 2nd green cleared of weeds and rubbish
It was a wet Public Holiday but that did not stop the golfers or the F-Troopers.
On hand we had Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Sam Knox, Kevin O’Brien, Rob Benson, Peter Martin, John Hollebon, Di Beechey and Jan Martin.
Projects worked on today were limited as the tractor was not available to us however we were able to achieve some good clean up work around the course. We did loose timber and rubbish pickup around the course, firewood preparation, removal of a bougainvillea at the BBQ area near the clubhouse, tidy up under the clubhouse, removal of weeds and rubbish from the 2nd green garden, cleaning of the bush toilets
We had a little bonus today - receiving a $10 donation from a passing golfer who appreciated the voluntary work that we do. All donations we receive are put back into the cost of maintaining the course
Morning Tea was appreciated by all - thankfully we missed the worst of the heavy showers.
