HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Kerry Williams had a nice 37 points including a 4 pointer at the 6th and some good 3 pointers; Grant Williams did some good shots to the greensand parred the 13th and 15th and had the unfortunate lost ball that was found later hidden in the sprinkler head; Brent Frewin had birdies on the 13th and 18th; Anne Forrester played consistent golf and her highlight was seeing a snake on the 17th; Jan Walker has 4/4 on the 17th; Lyn Cruickshank lost her ball on the 10th (if found please put into the Lost and Found basket); Clyde Cruickshank had a lovely day with Nev and Jan; Neville walker parred the 10th: Nigel Asken had 2 birdies and the boys cruised in !; Ron Puiatti had birdies at the 13th and 18th; Helen Stuart had 4/4 on the 4th; Paul Way beat Ronny easily; Vicki Foster parred the 5th, 8th,11th and 16th; Kim Cardiff played 18 holes for the first time since her surgery; Walter Loschi had a birdie on the 10th and the 4th; Suzanne Waugh played steady golf; Dennis Cox had 2 birdies; Georgina Lamb want to know if anyone found her lipstick; Terry Coyle’s highlight was waking up this morning; Carolyn Buttsworth and Sandra Coyle won the Keno ticket; Sandra Coyle after her golf today of serious bad luck is looking forward to her next game; Lorraine Bignall was on the 9th green for 2 and had 5 pars; My highlights was enjoying good company and finishing with the same ball I started with after it was fished out of water twice plus I could have been wiped out in a serious way while playing the 2nd fairway - standing over my ball and getting ready to hit the ball - at the last moment I bent down to move a couple sticks from near the ball. Had I not done that I would have been hit by a shank shot from the 9th tee heading my way at speed and whizzed over my head. Grateful for my escape I needed to celebrate with a champagne after golf.
