HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY -as reported to me: Michael Cheetham was pin high on the 17th for 4; Karen Askins was a steady player getting some good 3 pointers and a 4 pointer on the 8th; Peter Martin almost got a birdie on the15th; Duncan Dyer had a nice 38 points following up his medal win yesterday; Clyde Cruickshanks should have run up and taken the pin out at the 8th so Lyn could have (should have) had a hol-in-one on the  8th instead of having to settle for a nearest the pin of 8cms, Clyde also canned a 15 footer for a birdie on the7th;  Bert Brink enjoyed the company; Russell Willings was attacked by wildlife at the 6th - an irritated bee; Lorraine Bignall was also attacked by wildlife at the 4th - a red ant; Lorraine Bignall and Melanie Forster beat the boys for the Keno Ticket; Kevin O’Brien had 3 shots to get past the ladies tee; Russell Willings got 2/3 birdie and the girls squared with 3/3; Melanie Forster 3rd shot to the 18th up onto the green and scored 5/3; Wally Robertson had 4/4 birdie on the 18th and got kisses from the girls; Rhonda Robertson - the birthday girl had a nice 36 points; Garry Baillie had a gobbler birdie 3/5; Ray Buttsworth had a good putting day for his 40 points; my highlights were finishing with the same ball I started with and enjoying good company + getting more than 30 points.
