We had a magic day for golf today on the Village Green.  Blue sky and sunshine and a course wit( good run. What else can we ask for!


Our playing patterns today were Ray and Carolyn Buttsworth who are always great company.
We did have some good highlights which included me getting out of both of my unfortunate bunkers in one shot and hitting a sand wedge over the bunker to the 18th green which resulted in a 3 pointer. 


The Golf Event of the day was a Single Stableford for Men and Ladies + 2 Ball Team.

We had 74 starters with 1 visitor from Shelly Beach.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Steve and Liz Robinson - Liz did not get much help from Steve; Kay Baillie had a 3/4 at the 12th; Garry Baillie was a steady Eddie; Carolyn Buttsworth had 19 points at the turn and played steady golf; Ray Buttsworth had a good back nine; Peter Martin had a par on the 18th ; Clyde Cruickshanks had 4/4 on the 18th, 4/3 on the 17th and 4/3 on the 3rd; Kim Cardiff had a “......”  Day;  Wally Loschi had a birdie on the 2nd and the 4th; Rosie Dyer has 4/4 on the 4th and 20 points at the turn; Duncan Dyer had 39 points and played a steady game; Anne Forrester birdied the 16th ; Peter Laybutt and Wally Robertson beat the girls for the Keno Ticket; Wally Robertson had a 4/4 at the 11th; Brent Frewin had birdies on the 1st and the 12th; John Slight had 2/4 at the 12th; Grahame Muller had a steady game; Kevin O’brien Had 43 points including birdies at the 14th and 17th; Paul Way had 20 points on the back 9; Karen Askins got out of the bunkers well; Michael Cheetham played a steady game including a birdie at the 1st; my highlights were playing with Ray and Carolyn Buttsworth, getting out of the 2 bunkers I went in with just one shot, and hitting a sand wedge over the bunker to the green on the 18th and scoring a 3 pointer.
