Andy Henebury has gifted us a momento of his time with F - Troop

It was Andy Henebury’s last day with F-Troop today and he was presented with an appreciation gift for his time spent with F-Troop.  Andy and Jann are leaving the Central Coast this Friday to start a new era in their life in Hobart, Tasmania where they will enjoy time close to their daughters and grand daughter.  We wish them well and much happiness in the apple isle.

It was a warm day today and we felt the heat working on our projects.

On hand we had Duncan Dyer, Sam Knox, Kevin O’Brien, Ron Gowing, John Hollebon, Peter Martin, Andy Henebury and Jan Martin.

Projects worked on were removal of a large tree that had fallen in the 15th dam (worked on with the help of professional arborists), tidy up around the clubhouse, 1st and 10th tees, wedding garden and practice nets, trimming of hibiscus trees, hedge maintenance, cleaning of the bush toilets, replacement of broken pot on the 6th ( new pot donated by Andy Henebury), addition mulch to the greenspace gardens, weeding and tidying the greenspace gardens, pick up of rubbish on the 6th tee; watering pots at the 6th tee, tidy the 6th tranquility garden including fertilising, watering the bike garden, watering and fertilising 9th ladies tee garden’ watering pots at the wedding garden, delivering of firewood, repair of fence on the 18th fairway.

After a hard mornings work we looked forward to our morning tea this week.
