The Golf Event of the day was the first Round of the Team Series.

We had 55 starters.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Sam Knox birdies the 14th and had 36 points; Georgina Lamb enjoyed the company on the golf course; Zorro Sorridimi drove within 7 metres of the 9th hole and birdied the 14th; Rosalie Dyer enjoyed a nice par on the 18th; Leonie Kelly had 19 points on the front 9; Brett Margin birdied the 14th after his drive one foot past the hole; Clyde Cruickshnanks birides the 10th and all others were par for 37 points; Paul Way scored 40 points after forgettiong to bring his golf shoes; George Foster and Ron Puiatti beat the girls for the Keno Ticket; Vicki Foster  birdies the 15th for 3/4; Ron Puiatti 17 pars and 1 bogie; Lynn Puiatti had 4/4 on the 3rd; Steve Robinson had birdies at the 5th and the 15th; Col Matterson;s highlight was playing with Steve Robinson; Lauren Matterson enjoyed the day; Karen Askins enjoyed the weather; Michael Cheetham Chipped in on the 6th for a par; John Hazzard was a consistant player; Terry Coyle enjoyed a lovely advocado & tomato & mushrooms on toast cooked by his lovely wife Sandra; Geraldine Turner had 4 pointers at the 8th and the 12th; Sandra Coyle played 18 holes; Steve Turner parred the 9th; Annette Cross enjoyed pars at the 1/3 & 15th; Steve Cross birdies the 15th; Ray Buttsworth enjoyed pars at the 1/3/14th; Carolyn Buttsworth was the backbone of the team; Rhonda & Wally Robertson was welcomed home after their epic trip by Kay & garryBaillie; Brent Frewin had a birdie at the 7th; Anne Forrester was a consistant player; Phillip Wilson enjoyed 38 points
Kim Cardiff was 11 points after 3 holes and finished with 33 points; Walter Loschi birdied the 1st and the 7th; Suzanne Waugh played steady golf; Fay Bailey had 4/4on the 3rd; my highlight was a morning with the grandies followed up by presentation at the golf club and dinner at the pub .
