We had a perfect day for golf today in warm sunshine.  We enjoyed great company with Laurie & Denise Bentlin who played a very nice game of golf - coming in second place in the Team 2BBB.  We had some very good highlights with Denise scoring 39 points (beaten on a countback for the ladies winner) and Laurie scoring a great birdie on the 16th hole.



The Golf Event of the day was a Single Stableford for Men and Ladies +  Aggregate Team 2BBB

We had 68 starters with 2 visitors from Pittwater & Windsor.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Denise Bentlin scored a lovely 39 points including 8 x 3 pointers and 1 wipe; Laurie Bentlin had a birdie on the 16th; Mona Maher played a steady game for her 39 points; Richard Brien had some good pars and a birdie on the 18th; Ray Buttsworth came very close to a hole-in-one on the 14th; Col Matterson had a great round beating his age with a gross 70 and winning the Men's Singles with a nett 43 points; Wally Robertson had a 4 pointer on the 9th; Neville Walker had 3 x 3 pointers on the back 9; Kevin O'Brien had a birdie on the 1st hole; Mark Stimpson had birdies on the 14th and 15th holes; Karen Askens played to her handicap for the 1st time scoring a nice 36 points including 2 x 4 pointer and 4 x 3 pointers; my highlight was [playing with good company , scoring 19 points on the front 9 including a 4 pointer on the 8th. Sadly I did not finish with the same ball I started with.
