We had a magic day for golf on the Village Green.  Blue sky and sunshine - very pleasant.
Our playing partners were Brett Margin & Leonie Kelly and we had a good fun day with many highlights - the best of which was our 12 pointer hole and coming in Runners Up in the Team Event.

The Golf Event of the day was a Texas 4 Ball Team Stableford Best 3 scores each hole - Irish Team Stableford.

We had 40 starters.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Leonie Kelly had 49 points including a birdie on the 8th & 6 four pointers; Brett Margin had a birdie on the 2nd; Peter Martin had a birdie on the 8th; Carolyn Buttsworth parred the 7th and the 17th; Ray Buttsworth parred the 1st, 15th & 16th; Kevin O'Brien parred the 3rd and 4th; Lorraine Bignall had the most drives of her team; Karen Askins had 52 points including 3/6 on the 1st; my highlights were finishing with the same ball I started with (after getting wet at the 6th), scoring some good 4 pointers and having 42 points.

The Clubhouse was closed this afternoon so we had presentations in the club gardens.
