F-Troop - Monday 3rd September 2018

F-Troop Morning Tea - Sam Knox, Ron Gowing, Garry Trigg, Trevor Harrison, Di Beechey, Anne Burgess, Kevin O'Brien, Rob Benson ( Peter Martin & Jan Martin)

The new Storm Shelter situated at the back of the 5th fairway. Now operational if you get caught out on the course in bad weather, electrical storms etc.

The Paintbrush Bulbs are flowering beautifully at the back of the 10th tee.

We were able to work through the light showers this morning so we carried on regardless with our projects.

On hand we had Rob Benson, Kevin O'Brien, Peter Martin, Garry Trigg, Sam Knox, Ron Gowing, Di Beechey, Anne Burgess and Jan Martin.

Projects worked on were loose timber and rubbish pick up around the course, clean up of the clubhouse area, paths around the 1st and 10th tees, practice nets and wedding garden, trimming of shrubs in the clubhouse gardens, planting of new shrubs and tidy up of the BBQ garden, preparation of timber, delivery of firewood, cleaning of the bush toilets, watering of gardens around the clubhouse and wedding garden, putting green, 14th greenspace gardens, watering pots at the 6th, bike garden & 9th ladies tee garden, tidying 6th tranquility garden, watering and cleanup of pot plant at the clubhouse door, weeding of the 13th tee garden, clean up of the Ladies 3rd Tee steps as well as doing a respectful burial of a very unlucky duck found deceased at the 7th fairway.

We just made it in for morning tea when the heavier showers came down. We were happy to enjoy our morning teas under the protective cover of the clubhouse roof.

YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
