We had a perfect day for golf today - the wind was not blustery like yesterday which made for pleasant golf.  Our playing partners were Brent Frewin and Anne Forrester who provided all of the highlights for the day, Brent scoring five birdies in his 44 points and Anne had a birdie chip in on the 1st hole, chip in for 4/4 on the 4th and 3 pointers at the 13/14/15 & 16th.


The Golf Event of the day was a Single Stableford + a 2 Ball Team.

We had 67 starters

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Brent Frewin had 5 birdies, 13/18/1/2/9; Anne Forrester had a birdie chip in on the 1st, another chip in on the 4th for a par, 4x 3 pointers in a row - 13/14/15/16th; Lorraine Bignall scored a nice 41 points including almost an eagle at the 16th; Kevin O'Brien had a birdie on the 18th; John Hazzard scored 37 points with steady play; Julie Hazzard had 38 points including 4/3 on the 16th; Kathy Small sank some long putts, also 2 x 4 pointers (one 5/4 on the 18th) and a lot of 3 pointers; Neville Walker had 4 x 4 birdie at the 18th; Jam Walker parred the first and had a steady game for 35 points; Carolyn Buttsworth had a lovely day; Ray Buttsworth drove the cart well;  Terry Coyle had a birdie on the 12th; Lyn Cruickshanks won nearest the pin on the 8th; Geraldine Turner putted like a demon and won the Keno ticket with Rhonda against the boys; Rosemary Dyer & Lynn Puiatti won the Keno Ticket against the boys; Sheila Williams scored a nice 41 points; Paul cholberg scored a nice 42 points; Doon Delaney played a steady game for her 38 points; Garry Baillie had 10 x 3 pointers; Kay Baillie did some good putting; Kerry Williams chipped out of the bunker for a 6/3 on the 10th; my highlight was watching Brent Frewin & Anne Forrester play.
