Report on Nelson's Bay Week of Golf

Report on the Nelson Bay Tour

24 golfers from the Central Coast played on the beautiful courses of Port Stephens.
Day one was a 2 men Ambrose at Horizons Golf Course with the winners: Gary (John West) Sammons and Brad (250) Page.
The highlight of the day was a hole in one by Garry (Judge Judy) Buggy.
Here is the Description:  “I wiggled my backside and hit a low, below the wind, 7 iron which landed just before the green and rolled into the hole”
Here is the Truth: I miss hit my 7 iron and it never went higher than a foot above the ground it missed the water, I don’t know how, and then dribbled into the hole.
Here is what Matters: IT WAS A HOLE IN ONE

Day two at Newcastle Golf Course saw Mark (MSM the Skipper) Stimpson victorious with 40 points.

Day three at Horizons Warren “The Visitor” Guest came out on top with a magnificent 39 points.

Day four should have been at Nelson Bay Golf Club but controversy saw it relocated to Horizons and the victor there with a super 39 was Ted “The Groomer” Roberts.

The Last day was held at Pacific Dunes Golf Club and the winner was Duncan (Chainsaw) Dyer with 37 points.

The overall winner for the week was Ted “The Groomer” Roberts with Mark (MSM the Skipper) Stimpson in second and Duncan (Chainsaw) Dyer in third. The Bradman was won by Garry (Judge Judy) Buggy.

My thanks to Paul Scholberg for this report.  As per usual - it looks like a great week was had by all.
