F-Troop - Monday 5th January 2015

F-Troop Morning Tea - Jan Martin, Geoff Bridge, Anne Burgess, Di Beechey, Warren Gray,
Rob Benson, Garry Trigg, Trevor Harrison, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, Duncan Dyer

Action at the 5th Fairway - the hump on the left side of the approach to the green has been flattened out and an area cleared for a new pathway to the 6th Tee. We will now have a clear shot to the bunker!!!

F-Troopers Trevor Harrison and Peter Martin picking up garden rubbish at the 2nd Tee
after the shrubs had been trimmed and the garden weeded.

We were hopeful of more rain overnight but unfortunately we did not get very much at all.

We had eleven volunteers today which was great as we had a lot of projects on hand.

Workers today were Trevor Harrison, Don Nicholls, Duncan Dyer, Geoff Bridge, Garry Trigg, Warren Gray, Rob Benson, Peter Martin, Di Beechey, Anne Burgess and Jan Martin.

The Tree Gang - Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Geoff Bridge and Garry Trigg worked at the 5th fairway where the green staff are changing the fairway and path to the 6th Tee. You will note that the left lump on the creek side has been flattened out so we will now have a clear view of our golf balls going into the left bunker.

Warren Gray and Rob Benson did rubbish pick up around the course and then did some more repair work on the fence at the 18th fairway.

Peter Martin and Don Nicolls put a new tap at the 14th Bush Toilets, raked up the 7th Tee, picked up rubbish around the course, did some repair work on the fence on the 18th fairway, fixed a door lock in the associates room, raked up at the back of the clubhouse.

Di Beechey cleaned up underneath the clubhouse, watered the gardens at the 1st and 10th, maintained the water feature on the 1st, cleaned up in the storeroom.

Anne Burgess worked on cleaning up the BBQ area and the daunting task of the car park area.

I worked at the 3rd Ladies Tee, secured the golf shoes and planted 4 new succulents in the garden at the 2nd Green, tidied up the 6th tranquility garden, cleaned up the 14th Bush Toilets and watered the gardens there, trimmed the shrubs in the garden at the Men's 2nd Tee and weeded the garden, partly weeded the garden at the new cart shed, watered the pots in the Wedding Garden.

Morning Tea was very welcome and we enjoyed iced cake slices Thank you Chef Alice!

After morning tea Peter and Trevor repaired a sign at the 17th and picked up garden rubbish from where I was working at the 2nd Tee.

YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
