HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Alice Diamond had some good long shots to the green; Col Kelly had four 3 pointers in a row; Terry Coyle had a 4 pointer at the 3rd; Ray Buttsworth played a nice steady game with no wipes (two weeks in a row); Kay Baillie had a gobbler on the 2nd; Carolyn Buttsworth had a 50 foot gobbler shot at the 2nd for a nice par; Mary Bromwich chipped and putted well for her 40 points; Warren Gray played dead to encourage Mary to play well; Robin Brann was not impressed that the boys won the Keno Ticket; Kevin O'Brien had a birdie at the 1st; Col Matterson hit out of the hazard at the 5th and got covered in mud, splattering his shirt so badly he had to buy a new shirt to do presentation in the clubhouse; Lauren Matterson had 24 points at the turn and a 4/4 at the 17th after being on the green for 2 and a 3/4 at the 12th; Vicki Foster's highlight was having George waiting for her when she finished golf; Sheila Williams had a gobbler at the 10th; Neville Walker had 4/4 at the 13th; Chris Dekker played steady golf for her 39 points; Annie Brink played good steady golf; Peter Martin played a nice game; my highlight was a gobbler birdie at the 5th.

I am still persevering without internet coverage on my home computer - so bear with me with the fragmented bits.

I hope you were all watching the footie tonight when Alex Johnston scored the first try of the night for South Sydney.  John and Julie Hazzard will be so proud( as we all are ) of their Grandson!
