F-Troop - Monday 19th May 2014

F-Troop had only a small crew today but managed to achieve some major tasks.

On hand we had Duncan Dyer, Geoff Bridge, Trevor Harrison, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, Rob Benson, Warren Gray, Di Beechey and Jan Martin.

One of our major projects has been to clear down the school fence line which has been nothing much better than a jungle of overgrown weeds and noxious plants.  Today the boys put in a good effort clearing a lot of the bottom part of the fence.  The green staff chipped in with their heavy equipment to form a pathway along the fence from the car park.

Don & Peter also did rubbish pick up around the course, repaired a leaking tap at the 8th bubbler as well as delivering two trailer loads of mulch to the Front Street Garden.

Di cleaned up in the car park and underneath the clubhouse before volunteering her time for the ladies pennants games being played at Gosford today.

I cleaned up at the bush toilet area, the 6th and 3rd tees, poisoned weeds in the Front Street Garden and helped to spread the mulch out on the garden.

We appreciated our morning tea of fresh muffins - Thanks Chef Brad!

The Front Street Garden is almost completed to the stage that we can call respectable.

YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
