F-Troop - Monday 4th November 2013

We had a very productive day at F-Troop this morning in spite of a small crew and the course being busy with the CCWGA Champions Day played at Gosford today over 27 holes.

We had Rob Benson, Warren Gray, Martin Gallagher, Geoff Bridge, Peter Martin, Anne Burgess and Jan Martin on duty.

Due to the busy field the tree lopping was limited to taking down a black wattle tree at the 17th.

As we have had some very windy weather these last few days there was a lot of loose timber down on the course so Rob, Warren, Martin, Geoff and Peter applied themselves to rubbish pick up and did a great job.

Anne and Carolyn tidied up at the 14th Bush Toilets and then applied themselves to watering as many gardens as possible during the morning.  The hot weather had stressed out a lot of the gardens.

I worked at the 2nd Tee gardens weeding and trimming - with the help of Carolyn, Rob & Warren with the high Abilias that needed trimming.  After that watered and fertilized all the pot plants at the 9th, 1st and Wedding Garden.

Morning tea of huge muffins was very welcome as everyone had put in a hard mornings work.  Thanks Chef John!

After morning tea Peter watered the Tibouchinas on the 2nd fairway and I watered at the 1st and 10th and trimmed the lavender plants.

YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
