Golf - Sunday 6th January 2013

It was great to get back to our normal Sunday Competition today after our long holiday break.  We had some hot weather but it was diluted with a nice breeze for most of the day so it was not too bad.

Our playing partners today were Wally & Rhonda Robertson and they were great company and we had a fun day - the best highlight being the girls beating the boys 4/3  for the Keno ticket and the team scoring 12 points at the 12th hole.

We had two special presentations tonight - one being to Bert Jordon for his Summer Medal Win of 66 nett and the second being a presentation to Sheena Asken for her Hole-in-One at the 5th last Friday 4th January 2013.

The Golf Event of the day was a Medley Teams Event 1 X 2 X 3 + Single Stableford for Men and Ladies.

We had 80 starters with 4 visitors from Pennant Hills, Shelly Beach & Terrigal.
