F-Troop - Monday 28th January 2013

Today was a struggle for most people with relentless rain for the majority of the day - but not for some of our fearless and dedicated F-Troopers who braved the early morning drizzle to get some more undercutting done at the 17th and to tidy up around the clubhouse.

We had six Troopers that I know of that turned up today.  Duncan Dyer, Geoff Bridge, Martin Gallagher, Trevor Harrison, Peter Martin & Di Beechey.

Di Beechey tidied the car parks and cleared all the gutters and checked that the wedding gardens were okay before escaping the rain.

Duncan Dyer, Geoff Bridge, Martin Gallagher, Trevor Harrison & Peter Martin did as much undercutting as possible given the weather conditions.

I took a look out the window and checked the radar and made a decision that heavy rain was inevitable so the planned projects were shelved and I took a day off.

Our dams will be well and truly full which is a good thing and hopefully the course has not suffered to much with the deluge.  The gardens will be happily deep watered.

YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
