Golf - Saturday 14th January 2012

The weather played havoc with our playing numbers today having some heavy rain overnight and more showers this morning.  There were no carts allowed which would also restrict a lot of would be players.

I was not unhappy with the weather as I wanted to plant out some lavender plants so it was perfect for me.
"Lavender Way" is work in progress between the 15th and 16th.  It is slow progress as the soil is solidly packed after being a main thoroughfare for years and has a lot of clay content.

The Golf Event of the year was a Men's Single Stableford.

We had 114 starters with 11 visitors from East Malvern, Everglades, Monash, Riverside Oaks, Shelly Beach, Virginia Qld and Wyong.
