Golf - Tuesday 22nd February 2011

We have finally cracked a pleasant day for golf for our Ladies Tuesday Competition. The anticipated rain did not happen and the cloud cover kept the temperature down for most of the round.
My playing partners were Rosemary Cohen and Lea Southon who were great company. We all had turns at scoring 3 pointers on the front 9 & would have had a good team score. The wheels fell off on the back nine which brought us back to the field.
The Event of the day was a Ladies Single Stableford - over 3 divisions.
We had 80 starters with visitors from Nambucca, USA & Terrigal.
RESULTS:
DIVISION 1 - 0 TO 22:
WINNER: Di Thomlinson - 41 points
RUNNER UP: Ann Baker - 40 points
