Today was our first day back at F-Troop after all of the Public Holidays getting in the way. We did not know which job to do first as all the work had piled up in our absence.
We still had volunteers on holidays, babysitting etc so we had a good number attending today.
On hand we had Sam Knox, Duncan Dyer, Kevin O'Brien, Trevor Harrison, Rob Benson, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, Bev Way, Lyn Bates and Jan Martin.
Projects worked on today was tidy up of the car park, cleaning up at the gutters at back of the clubhouse, undercutting trees, cut back of tree on the 7th that was struck by lightning, loose timber and rubbish removal around the course, removal of rubbish at the bins behind the practice nets, tidy up of gardens and paths at the 2nd tee, planting in of donated grasses at the 18th tee grass gardens, tidy up of BBQ garden, cleaning up paths from the 17th to 18th, removal of overgrown Alavera plants at the Ladies 3rd tee garden, tidy up of garden at the 2nd green garden, more work done at tidying the Streletzia garden at the 15th tee, tidy up of garden at the 14th bush toilets.
We appreciated morning tea of fresh sandwiches after a hard mornings work.
YEE! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
