from our Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow Shrubs

We had a great weather day to work on our projects today - working early before the hot weather set in.

On hand we had Sam Knox, Duncan Dyer, Kevin O’Brien, Trevor Harrison, Dave Scifleet, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, Rob Benson, Ron Gowing, Lyn Bates, Leeanne Binns, Carolyn Buttsworth and Jan Martin.

I was very impressed with my garden girls who have put their hand up to help improve our gardens. They were there at 7 o’clock and worked hard on their projects until morning tea. Thank you Lyn, Leeane and Carolyn who have put in some hard yards in the last month.

Projects worked on today were tree maintenance; firewood preparation;  clean up of paths underneath the clubhouse, paths to the 1st and 10th tees, practice greens and practice nets; finishing off the 2nd Ladies tee garden including mulching; installation of garden edge at the 2nd Green Garden; watering of the gardens at the Bees Corner;  trailer load of mulch to the 15th garden; Loose Timber and Rubbish pick up around the course; final mulching of the 15th Round-about garden; a start made on mulching the 15th Men’s Tee Garden; a start made at trimming the 15th strelitzia Garden; a start made on weeding the 6th Native Garden.

We enjoyed our morning tee of fresh sandwiches after a hard mornings work.

YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
