Our playing partners today in the 2021 Mixed Foursomes Championship
What a great day we had on the Village Green for the playing of the 2021 Mixed Foursomes Championships. Blue sky and sunshine welcomed us all day.
Our playing partners were Ray and Carolyn Buttsworth and Wally and Rhonda Robertson who were great company for this traditional “Fearsomes Championships” where it is always best not to take the golf all too seriously. We had an enjoyable day even though the golf was a bit of a worry at times. We did have some good highlights including some good pars - my best highlight was getting out of every bunker in one (after you-know-who put me there).
The Golf Event of the day was the 2021 Mixed Foursomes Championships played over 18 holes.
We had 72 starters.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: These seemed to be few and far between which is typical of foursomes events but I think I can speak for most golfers and say it was a lovely day in the sunshine enjoying good company.
