We had a beautiful weather day for golf today - a lovely day to be on Gosford Golf Course.

Our playing partners today were Duncan and Rosalie Dyer and we had a very enjoyable day on the course where it was all about who will win the Keno Ticket with the boys having us 4 down when we fought back to a draw thanks to Rosalie’s 3 pointer at the 17th which turned the tide.

The Golf Event of the day was a Single Stableford for Men and Ladies + 2BBB Team.

We had 95 starters with 2 visitors from Wentworth Falls.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Rosalie Dyer had a nice 3 pointer on the 17th to cement our path to a draw for the Keno Ticket with the boys; Peter Martin and Duncan Dyer felt sorry for the girls  and let them have a draw; Annette Cross chipped in from 50 metres out on the 3rd for a birdie 3/4; Steven Cross had a consistent round with 8 pars; Geraldine Turner, Kay Baillie, Garry Baillie and Steve Turner had an absolute ball - Kay parred the 9th for 4 points and the rest of us watched in awe!!; Owen James and Wally Robertson both had 5 x 3 pointers - rest was mediocre;Fran James had no wipes and scored over 30 points; Rhonda Robertson enjoyed the nice weather; Kevin O’Brien had 2 x Chips ins - one for a birdie on the 3rd, got off the tees better and scored 34 points; Julie Hazzard and Lorraine Bignall enjoyed the chat; John Hazzard scored 2 x 3 pointers at the par 3’s; Spencer Walklate had a birdie on the 14th; Mark Stimpson had a chip in for birdie on the 7th; Alice Diamond had 5 pars and a birdie in the 8th hole; Ray Buttsworth had 4 pointers on the 13th and the 16th; Carolyn Buttsworth had a birdie on the 11th and pars on 5,8 and 16th; Clyde and Lyn Cruickshanks had good company today; my highlights were 3 pointers at the 12th and the 15th and finishing with the same ball I started with.
