Our new F-Troopers

We had a good day at F-Troop today with a good number of volunteers to help with our projects.

A big welcome to Matt Carroll and Nick Goff our newest members of F-Troop.

On hand were Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Sam Knox, Kevin O’Brien, Steve Hogg, Rob Benson, Terry Coyle, John Hollebon, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, Matt Carroll, Nick Goff, Di Beechey and Jan Martin.

Projects worked on today was the removal of the large branch that had Halley in the 15th dam behind the 12th green, loose timber and rubbish pick up around the course, hedge maintenance, fertilising and watering the 4th tee hedge, tap repair at the 15th tee, preparation of firewood and tidy up of the wood heap, tidy up around the clubhouse, 1st and 10th tees, wedding garden maintenance, garden watering around the course and tidy up of 18th tee garden, mulching gardens at the 1st tee, cleaning of the bush toilets, cleaning out the drain at the 14th, watering pots at the 6th, bike garden, 9th ladies tee, 9th green and roses in the Wedding Garden.

We had a very busy day and appreciated our morning tea.

We have had more low life on the course with multiple hose fittings, bird bath and the Windmill at the 18th have all been stolen. A sad reflection on today’s society.

YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
