Our very friendly lizard again at the 15th tee waiting on hand outs of grapes.

We had a lovely day for golf today - a bit warm at times but the gentle breeze was appreciated when it made its presence felt.  Our playing partners today were Bert Brink & Gail Williams and what a team they made.  Bert scored 40 points and Gail scored 42 points which meant Peter & I only had to throw in the odd three pointer to keep the scores running.  Unfortunately we were beaten on the big prize on a countback after 3 of the team went OOB on the 18th which was unfortunate however we did have some great highlights with Gail playing very consistently and Bert getting a brilliant birdie on the 8th chipping into the hole from the very edge outside the right bunker.

The Golf Event of the day was the Christmas Gala Day which many of the members supported by wearing Christmas Shirts. The Team Event was a 1 x 2 x 3 Stableford.

We had 84 starters.
