The last round of the shield was played today at Shelly Beach unfortunately we were beaten by the eventual winners Toukley 4 and 1/2 to 1 and 1/2.
Thanks you to all the players who represented the club. I am sure all these players will represent themselves and their club with distinction in the future.
Special mention must be made for the efforts of the team captain Jemison Fitzgerald for going through the series undefeated. Also to Brian Chin who only recently obtained his handicap and was thrown into the deep end. I am sure he gets the encouragement award.
