HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Mark Stimpson & Alice Diamond had a birdie on the 2nd and parred the 6th, 17th and 18th holes; Jan & Peter Martin parred the 14th; John Slight & Cheryl Davison did not lose a ball; David Medcalf's highlight was a great drive which Narelle then sliced into the drain on the 6th, Narelle's highlight was playing golf with David for the first time for a while; Helen & Keith Potter enjoyed the day, Paul Scholberg turned up, Dianne & Steve Thomlinson enjoyed good company; Ron Gowing hit through a tree at the 17th and eventually settled 2 foot from the pin; Mary Bowditch hit a great shot to the 10th pin; Paul Way & Sheila Williams enjoyed the day; Walter Loshi & Suzanne Waugh had birdies at the 8th and the 2nd; Vicki Foster & George Foster had a lot of good pars; Ray Buttsworth & Kath Payn had pars and co-ordinated well; Ross & Christine Drakeford had two birdies; Terry & Sandra Coyle enjoyed good company; my highlight was getting out of the bunker at the 13th and put the ball close enough to the pin that Peter could get the putt.
