We had a great day for golf today - sunshine all the way.  Our playing partners were Wal & Rhonda Robertson and we had a fun day on the Village Green. Our best highlight of the day was watching Wally play the first six holes where he scored 3 points on each hole - 10th,11th,12th,13th.14th,15th.

The Golf Event of the day was a Single Stableford + 2B Aggregate Team.

We had 84 starters.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Wally Robertson scored 39 points including six 3 pointers in a row; Rhonda Robertson had some nice 3 pointers; Peter Martin had a par on the 8th; Duncan Dyer had a par on the 9th; Rosalie Dyer parred 3 of the par 3's; Kay Baillie hit out of the bunker on the 17th and into the hole for 6/2; Rosalie & Kay beat the boys for the Keno Ticket; Kerry Rose had 3/4 on the 5th; Nigel Asken did not wipe a hole on the back 9; David Hopkins birdied the 15th; Brett Margin birdied the 11th; Paul Smith birdied the 15th; Anne Forrester birdied the 8th and won nearest the pin and had 3/3 on the 5th; Lyn Cruickshanks had 3/3 on the 5th and three 3 pointers; Col Matterson had a birdie on the 18th; Judy Ruitenberg enjoyed good company; Joyce Bosley had a 4 pointer on the 12th, played 18 holes and beat Jan Martin on a countback; Tania Walklate had a 3 pointer on the 18th; Lynn Puiatti had 3 points on each of the par 3's; Steve Robinson had a birdie on the 7th; George Foster was an improved player and beat the girls for the Keno ticket; Vicki Foster chipped in for a birdie on the 12th; my highlight was enjoying good company and finishing with the same ball I started with.
