Notes about the match: A David and Goliath battle took place at Belmont with the strong Wyong #1 team showing just how good they are. Finalists in 2015 against The Lakes our boys tried hard with Stephen Mc.Guckin unlucky to lose on the 18th against Norm Hollis 1 down. Bert Brink also went down on the 18th after a great tussle. The heat was a little less severe at Belmont compared to last week which was in magnificent condition with very quick greens and short cut Kikuyu fairways. Despite the result a great friendly spirit was in evidence in all matches.
Next week we have the bye and host the other 4 teams in our Division on Monday 13th February. Play starting at 10.30.
