F-Troop - Monday 10th October 2016

We had a lot of volunteers today which allowed us to get some good projects done.

On hand were Trevor Harrison, Duncan Dyer, Kevin O'Brien, Geoff Bridge, Rob Benson, Steve Hogg, Terry Coyle, John Hollebon, Nigel Asken, Peter Martin, Di Beechey, Anne Burgess and Jan Martin.

Projects worked on were tree maintenance along the 1st tee, trimming the palm trees along the 18th fence line, removal of weed from the 3rd dam, loose timber and rubbish pick up around the course, removal of the wall garden at the first tee, trimming of plants at the front steps of the clubhouse, weeding and mulching the small little gem magnolia garden, tidying of the gardens at the clubhouse, tidying of succulent garden at the wedding garden, tidying up around the BBQ garden and clubhouse, watering the gardens at the 18th, cleaning the bush toilets at the 14th, tidying the gardens in the green space at the 14th, watering the pots at the 6th and tidying the tranquility garden, tidying the ladies 3rd tee, watering the bike garden, watering the garden at the ladies 9th tee, watering the 1st and 10th gardens, watered the pots in the wedding gazebo, trimming the Lilly Pilly at the 10th tee, trimming a damaged shrub at the 10th tee, more splitting of timber for our firewood supplies, maintenance on the club street address signage. 

The weather has warmed up so we all appreciated morning tea of savoury breads, cakes, iced buns with a tea or coffee to refresh us.
