Magnolia flowering time.  Be sure to appreciate them in the next few weeks as they do not flower for an extended time.

We had four of our regular workers away on holidays this week but still managed to get ten volunteers to help with today's projects. On hand were Trevor Harrison, Kevin O'Brien, Geoff Bridge, Sam Knox, Peter Martin, Terry Coyle, Steve Hogg, Garry Trigg, Di Beechey and Jan Martin

The main project of the day was the laying of a tiled area on the lawned area downstairs which will house a donated set of Table and Chairs.  F-Trooper Trevor Harrison is our in-house expert on laying tiles and all the F-Troopers kicked in to help with this job and also to clean up the white wedding chairs.

Di Beechey worked on the gardens at the putting green and helped out with the cleaning of the wedding chairs. After morning tea I helped Di with the planting of four plants at the 12th and the 18th garden.

I worked at the 14th bush toilets, the 6th tranquility garden, replaced plants at the golf shoe garden at the 4th green, fixed up the crushed garden at the 17th green roundabout garden, weeded at the putting green gardens and raked up rubbish out of the gardens along the fence line.

We appreciated Morning Tea of savoury bread rolls, slices, cakes and donuts. Thank you Barto!

We now have a good pile of mulch from the cutting down of the trees so we are set to have enough mulch to prepare our gardens for the summer months.

YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
