Guess who's toes were painted pink in readiness for the Men's skit (unfortunately a non event) at the 2015 Presentation Night last night.

A new invention on the market to discourage flies - a bracelet smelling like citronella tested today during golf by Annie Brink.  The jury is still out as there were not a lot of flies on the course today as we had a nice breeze to keep them at bay. Perhaps another test run is required on a bad fly day!

Happy Birthday celebrations tonight at Gosford Hotel for Helen Smith

At Gosford Hotel after golf today - Kevin O'Brien, Lorraine Bignall, Col Kelly, Alice Diamond, Helen Smith, Garry Smith, Ray Buttsworth, Carolyn Buttsworth, Peter Martin, Annette Cross and Stephen Cross (Jan Martin)

A note to next Sunday Golfers - The Gosford Hotel is going to be closed next Sunday Evening for their Christmas Party so in lieu the regular Sunday Night diners from the Gosford Golf Club are going to have a BBQ dinner in the BBQ Garden - Bring your own everything except plates, cutlery, serviettes and sauces will be supplied. If you like a comfortable chair then bring that too. You can leave your food in the pro shop refrigerator while play golf and we will kick off after Presentation. You do not have to book - just turn up with your food and drinks. Everyone is welcome!

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Louise Bush had a magnificent 3/6 at the 17th hole after sinking a 70 foot chip shot to the green; Gary Baillie parred the 4th and 10th, had no wipes and scored 44 points; Rosalie Dyer had 4/4 at the 3rd, 4/3 at the 17th and had 5/3 at the 13th after sinking a long putt; my highlight was beating the boys for the keno ticket with the help of my partner Alice Diamond and scoring 21 points on the front nine (pity about the second nine)
