weeded, new mondo grass and watered

after their cruise from Key West Florida

Meanwhile at Gosford Golf Club.....

We has another busy day at F-Troop getting our projects finished before the Sue Suters Ovarian Cancer Charity Day started at 11 o'clock.

On hand we had Duncan Dyer, Geoff Bridge, Trevor Harrison, Rob Benson, Warren Gray, Peter Martin, DI Beechey, Anne Burgess, Carolyn Buttsworth and Jan Martin to share the work.

The Tree Gang removed a dead tree from the left hand side of the 9th fairway. Warren Gray, Rob Benson and Peter Martin did loose timber and rubbish pick up when not helping with the removal of the tree.

Anne Burgess cleaned up the BBQ area and with DI Beechey and Carolyn Buttsworth cleaned up underneath the clubhouse, watered, weeded the garden and planted in new mondo grass at the tranquility garden at the 6th tee, tidied up the native garden at the 6th tee, tidied up at the 3rd and 5th tees.

I cleaned up at the 14th Bush Toilets and watered the gardens there, helped out at the 6th tee gardens and watered the new trees at the 17th.

Having to leave early today I missed out on morning tea which I am sure was enjoyed by all. Thank you Chef Brad.

The winds have continued to bring down more loose timber as fast as we pick it up.  The course does not look too bad now and hopefully most of the weakened branches are down.

YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
