All Welcome!

This week has started well with some wonderful work from Ron Beechey, Di Beechey, Ross Drakeford & Christine Drakeford on Sunday at the BBQ area. As you can see in the above photos all the old timber around the BBQ has been replaced with new and it really does look good. We are looking forward to using this area more often now that it has been refreshed and ready for use. Keep your eye out for BBQs in the future and support them when you can as it is a club facility for you all to enjoy. Thanks Ron, Di, Ross and Chris - your dedication to this area has been outstanding.

Today we had another good turn up of troopers and achieved many tasks in need. The troopers renewed the gravel & removed rubbish at the BBQ area; cleaned up fallen trees after last nights wind blasts; renewed paths at the 12th & the 18th; raking & cleaning up around the putting green & the first tee; garden fertilizing; mulching & trimming on the 2nd tee gardens.

Many thanks to Wendy Stapleton for her efforts in weeding and clearing the 2nd tee gardens last week.

Images attached: Sunday's work on the BBQ area; F- Troop at work today; Golfers at play today ( a nice change from last week); Barto's "breakfast" contributions (together with Meat pies & sausage rolls); 2nd tee gardens after mulching & trimming.
