Golf - Friday 9th July 2010

The showers continued today with us receiving 7.6 mm since 9.00am this morning. The course was open with course conditions changing to tee up and no carts allowed.
We only had 9 players considering playing golf today which was not enough to hold a competition.
The forecast for tomorrow is supposed to be 18 degrees and partly cloudy, possible early morning showers followed by 18 degrees and possible showers on Sunday. Forecasts are just that ....we will see what tomorrow brings.
I will check with our Director of Golf, Scott Cubis early tomorrow & let you know what the course conditions are going to be & I will get them posted on the blog as soon as possible.
The course is holding up remarkably well considering the endless rain so our drainage system is working & future work on that can only improve the position even further.
With golfing revenue substantially down it is comforting that we have some functions lined up to fill the void with a 21st birthday party tonight (Photo attached) and a wedding tomorrow.
