Lavender Garden at the 16th Tee now free of weeds and dead wood 

We had a cool start to the morning but blue sky and sunshine were welcome for us to work in.

We had eleven volunteers to help with our projects.

On hand were Sam Knox, Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Kevin O’Brien, Ray Cheal, John Hollebon, Frank Potter, Laurelle Freeman, Carolyn Buttsworth, Lyn Bates and Jan Martin.

Projects worked on today were firewood preparation for 2027 sales; Delivery of firewood;  fairway repairs; tidy up of gardens and hedges at the Men’s Tee at 2A; more work done on our new garden at 2B Tee; tidy up of garden at Ladies Tee at 2A; finishing off the removal of weeds and deadwood from the 16th Lavender Garden.

We enjoyed our morning tea of fresh sandwiches in beautiful sunshine after a hard mornings work.

YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Gosford Lady Pennants Results - Monday 1st June 2026

 

Our Gosford Lady Pennants team have done it again! 

Playing at Everglades -Gosford vs Kooindah Waters.

Gosford won 5/3.

CONGRATULATIONS TEAM - WELL DONE!

Golf - Monday 1st June 2026

 There was no competition golf today - less than 9 players.

Carts and trikes were allowed back on the course . The course was still very wet with heavy dew in the mornings.

Social play went ahead.

Golf - Sunday 31st May 2026

 The Golf Event of the day was a Medley Sungke Stableford.

No carts or trikes were allowed on the course.

We had 40 starters with 2 visitors from Breakers and Future Golf.

Golf - Saturday 30th May 2026

 The Golf Event of the day was a Single Stableford - no carts or trikes allowed on the course.

We had 90 starters with 3 visitors from Riverside Oaks, Wyong and Everglades.

RUNNER UP: James Hughes - 37 points on a countback

GROSS STABLEFORD WINNER: Dan Bosley -34

B GRADE:

WINNER: Blake Bunyan - 33 points

RUNNER UP: Paul Smith - 32 points on a countback

Golf - Friday 29th May 2026

 There was no competition golf today due to the course being closed until 12.30 after which social golf was allowed but no carts or trikes.

The forecast indicates we will get a break from rain for a few days which hopefully will give the course a chance to recover.

 There was no golf competition today due to the inclement weather and state of the course. No carts or trikes were allowed on the course.
