F - Troop Morning Tea - Cathy McGowen, John Hollebon, Sam Knox, Duncan Dyer, David Medcalf, Rob Benson, Frank Potter, Laurelle Freeman, Rick O’Shea, Tom Kerslake, Trevor Harrison, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin ( Ray Cheal, Leeanne Binns, Carolyn Buttsworth, Lyn Bates, Jan Martin)

We had a huge day at F-Troop today with 17 volunteers available to work on our projects.

We welcomed two new members today - Rick O’Shea who worked with the garden team and Tom Kerslake who worked with the tree gang.

On hand we had Sam Knox, Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Ray Cheal, Tom Kerslake, Frank Potter, Rob Benson, David Medcalf, Don Nicholls, John Hollebon, Rick O’Shea, Laurelle Freeman, Cathy McGowen, Lyn Bates, Leeanne Binns, Carolyn Buttsworth and Jan Martin.

Projects worked on today were tree maintenance at the 18th;  Loose Timber and rubbish pick up around the course; removal of weed from the dams; hedge maintenance; watering gardens at the 2nd, 3rd and 5th tees; weeding of the Ladies 3rd tee garden including raking of paths and tidy up of the steps; trimming of Streletzia  plants and garden tidy up on the 2nd tee; trimming of tall  flowering plants at the 2nd green garden and 3rd tee ladies garden; trimming of gardenia shrubs at the chipping garden; weeding at the chipping green garden; weeding at the practice nets garden; purchase of garden stakes from Bunnings.

We enjoyed our morning tea of fresh sandwiches in beautiful sunshine today. It was great to have so many volunteers on hand which lightens the load for our dedicated members.
