Nelson Bay Reports - Day 2 - Horizons

Horizons Golf Course was the course for the day, with all Dribblers giving it their all.

While some found great success, others were left pondering their future in golf.

The surprise victor was Paul Scholberg with 36 points, closely followed by Chris Moffatt with 35 points and Bobby Clarke securing third place with 33 points after a countback.

Bringing up the rear were Bob Thomas and Paul Buffey, though their scores remain classified under National Secrets Act.

Today, half of our group is heading to Hawks Nest, while the other half will be trying their luck with the ponies.

We will be back at Nelson Bay Golf Club on Thursday.

My thanks to Paul Scholberg for this report.

Nelson Bay Tour Results - Day 1 Newcastle Golf Club

Reporting some highlights from the Gentleman Dribblers Tour to Nelson Bay . We had a great day at the Newcastle Golf Club.

Dean McCarthy stole the show with a magnificent 44 points, setting the bar high for everyone. Not far behind , well only 9 points; David Ralph and Garry Fitch put up commendable performances, each scoring 35 points. It was truly a day of impressive golf all around.

We have an early contender for the Bolter Award for overall last place. Garry Buggy humorously held back his talents to come in with a score of 17.

The weather was quite the challenge, with hot and stcky conditions and mosquitos giving the fighter jets from Williamstown a run for their money. Despite that, everyone had a great time.

Looking ahead, our next battlefield is Horizons Golf Club.

My thanks to Paul Scholberg for this report.
