Early morning we had light showers followed by a very icy wind.

We had 12 volunteers this morning to help with our projects.

On hand were Trevor Harrison, Kevin O’Brien, Duncan Dyer, Sam Knox, Don Nicholls, Rob Benson, David Medcalf, Frank Potter, John Hollebon, Carolyn Buttsworth, Lyn Bates and Jan Martin. 

Projects worked on today were loose timber and rubbish pick up around the course; assistance to the tree arborists; weeding the 7th tee gardens; spreading 3 trailer loads of mulch on the 7th Tee gardens; weeding and mulching the 8th Tee garden; filling in holes on the fairways; weeding the 2nd Tee Ladies Garden; weeding the front of clubhouse gardens; weeding and mulching at the front clubhouse steps, hedge maintenance. 

By morning tea time the icy wind had picked up substantially so we retreated inside to enjoy our morning tea of fresh sandwiches.

We had 67 starters with 6 visitors from Everglades, Wallacia, Shelly Beach, Wyong, Kooindah Waters and Club Banora.
