F-Troop Morning Tea - Laurelle Freeman, Lyn Bates, Duncan Dyer, Kevin O’Brien, Peter Martin, Trevor Harrison, John Hollebon (Don Nicholls, Frank Potter, Sam Knox, Jan Martin)
Gardens and hedges worked on today at the 1st and 10th tees
We had a full field of golfers on the course today given it was a Public Holiday so we worked mainly off the course with plenty of work to be done.
We had a good number of F-Troopers volunteering this morning which gave us a good chance to get some good work done,
On hand we had Sam Knox, Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Kevin O’Brien, Frank Potter, John Hollebon, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, Lyn Bates, Laurelle Freeman, Jan Martin.
Projects worked on today were firewood preparation, tidy up fallen branches; firewood loading and delivery; filling in of pitch marks and holes on the fairways; hedge maintenance; continued trimming of the climbing vine at the 10th tee; tidy up of the 2nd tee ladies garden; weeding of gardens at the 1st and 10th tees; weeding gardens at the chipping green gardens; planting in new plants at the practice putting green garden.
We enjoyed morning tea of fresh bread Rolls supplied by our club kitchen and Hot Cross Buns.
YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
