 The Golf Events of the day were the Pro Shop Day - Ladies Stroke - Div 1 from the white tees, Ladies Single Stroke B Grade from the white tees - Div 2, Ladies Single Stableford Div 2 from the white tees + Ladies 9 Hole Single Stableford. 

Club carts only allowed on the course.

31 deliveries this year

The course was very wet today. We need some warmer sun and some wind to dry the course out.

We had 9 volunteers available to help us with our projects.

On hand were Trevor Harrison, Duncan Dyer, Kevin O’Brien, Ray Cheal, Rob Benson, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, Laurelle Freeman and Jan Martin. 

Projects worked on today were Firewood preparation, loaded firewood, Firewood Delivery, loose timber and rubbish pickup around the course, more trimming done on the 10th tee climbing vine, purchase of petrol for the wood yard, finishing the weeding of the 7th tee garden and trimming the tibouchina trees there, start made on weeding the 10th tee garden.

The showers stayed away but it was very damp and cool.

Don Nicholls and Peter Martin did their last wood delivery for the year. We have done 31 deliveries this year.

We enjoyed morning tea of fresh bread rolls and wraps - very nice after a hard mornings work.

 There was no competition golf today - Brisbane Water Vets Day

Mixed Team Series. - 26th July, 23rd August and 20th September 2026.

 Get your teams together to support the Mixed Team Series sponsored by Bright Paints ( Ron and Lynn Puiatti - who have supported this series for many years).let’s support this Series to the Max - even if you cannot do the three weeks because of other commitments then do two because your team is exceptional in skill and you can still win those great prizes. Otherwise just do one for the support of the series.

 The Golf Event of the day was a Medley Single Stableford.

Only Club owned carts were allowed on the course.

We had 54 starters with 5 visitors from The SGA, Future Golf, Shelly Beach and Mangrove Mountain.
