We had a good weather day for our projects today so the early morning start was not so bad.

We had 11 volunteers to work on projects so some good work could be done.

Projects worked on today were tree maintenance; firewood preparation; fairway maintenance; hedge maintenance; loose timber and rubbish pick up around the course including clearing of the garden bins; maintenance to gardens at the 2nd Tee; practice nets garden; practice green gardens; 10th Tee gardens ; front of clubhouse gardens; trimming of shrubs at the practice green garden and poisoning of garden path at the practice nets garden and garden edges; weeding of the begonia wall garden at the 10th tee

It was a lovely sunny morning to enjoy our morning tea of fresh sandwiches.

It was a busy day on the course with the Vets in full swing along with 14 F-Troop volunteers.

Projects worked on today were Tree maintenance; loose timber and rubbish pick up around the course; hedge maintenance; fairway maintenance; maintenance to gardens at the 2nd, 3rd, 5th; 13th; 1st and 10th tees; practice nets and chipping green.

Morning tea of fresh sandwiches were appreciated after a hard mornings work and especially enjoying the sunshine.

Early morning heavy showers put off a lot of our volunteers today. We were lucky enough to have the weather clear so we could carry on with our projects.

The course was very wet after last nights rain.

On hand we had Sam Knox, Trevor Harrison, Duncan Dyer, Rob Benson, John Hollebon, Lyn Bates, Carolyn Buttsworth and Jan Martin.

After last weeks wild winds there was a lot of loose timber lying around the course.

We were happy to receive our long handle tree lopper today - our latest ‘you beaut’ tool to help our tree gang.

Projects worked on today were Tree maintenance; hedge maintenance; loose timber and rubbish pick up around the course; Weeding of gardens at the 2nd and 3rd holes; weeding of the Practice Nets garden; Weeding of the 13th Garden.

The outside area was sunny but still wet from the showers so once again we escaped indoors to enjoy our morning tea of fresh sandwiches.

Early morning we had light showers followed by a very icy wind.

We had 12 volunteers this morning to help with our projects.

Projects worked on today were loose timber and rubbish pick up around the course; assistance to the tree arborists; weeding the 7th tee gardens; spreading 3 trailer loads of mulch on the 7th Tee gardens; weeding and mulching the 8th Tee garden; filling in holes on the fairways; weeding the 2nd Tee Ladies Garden; weeding the front of clubhouse gardens; weeding and mulching at the front clubhouse steps, hedge maintenance. 

By morning tea time the icy wind had picked up substantially so we retreated inside to enjoy our morning tea of fresh sandwiches.
