Today was the first of the Teams Series Events which is to be held over a three month period.
This is a hugely popular event and well supported by our members. The overcast weather & showers were not the weather that we would have liked however it did not bother a lot of players that came in with some fantastic scores.
Our Team Members were Iris Talbot and Ian Mitchell who played with opposition Team Members Helen Stuart and Doug Incoll. Our playing partners were Bev Way and Steve Laing and our team came in one point ahead at the end of the day and all eight of us had a very enjoyable day. Playing early was a bonus as we had the best of the weather and the light.
Today was the 25th Annual Mixed Teams Series and was sponsored by "SCHWEPPES" which included some great prizes for the winners.
Round 1 was a Single Stableford and we had 108 starters.
