It was a mixed bag of weather for today's event on the village green. We had small spatters of wet weather, overcast and cool for most of the day but lovely tranquil sunshine towards the latter of the day. The course was still quite wet underfoot from previous days rain however when the sunshine did emerge it was quite lovely to be out on the green space.
Our playing partners today were Terry and Sandra Coyle and we did have some fun & highlights through the day. The boys beat us rather convincingly at the end of the day but we were discouraged by them matching our 3 pointers when we did manage to make them. I was overjoyed to have scored over 30 points today - quite a feat given my results of recent months. Terry played a nice steady game to score 38 points which was our strength today.
The Event of the day was a 2 Ball Aggregate + Singles Mixed Men and Ladies and we had 92 starters.
