Two very hot and humid days have been a bit hard to take straight after so many wet and rainy days and some of the golfers must have thought it was going to be just too hard as our numbers were down today compared to the average 200 odd anticipated players.
The balmy night last night was made to order for our "Wedding Garden" celebration for the official opening of the Pro Shop. The heat & humidity did not help the BBQ sales for F-Troop as business was pretty slow all morning. We thank everyone who did support the BBQ as all monies raised goes towards the beautification of the course.
The Wedding Garden was tidied up by F-Troop workers early this morning transformed back ready for an afternoon wedding. "Beautiful one day and perfect the next" at Gosford Golf Club. Special thanks go to Annie Brink, Des Wilson and Arthur Verlander who made their time available from very early in the morning to support F-Troop.
The Golf event of the day was a Men's Single Stroke - Monthly Medal.
We had 174 starters with 8 visitors from Byron Bay, Cammeray, Mangrove Mountain, Oberon, South West Rocks, Toukley, Trundle and Wakehurst.
