This tree will reshoot to a beautiful shape
and should survive wind storms with no damage

We had another chilly morning start but a good sunny morning to get on with our projects.

On hand were Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Kevin O'Brien, Rob Benson, Steve Hogg, Terry Coyle, Peter Martin, John Hollebon, Ron Gowing, Anne Burgess and Jan Martin.

Projects worked on today were trimming of the large tree on the 6th tee removing all dangerous branches. This will allow the tree to reshoot into a nice shape and keep it tidy.  Other projects done were loose timber and rubbish pick up around the course, replacement of the red hazard pegs on the 17th, maintenance to the hedges around the course including trimming and weeding, tidy up of the path areas around the club and 1st/10th tees and practice nets, tidy up of the BBQ area, weeding of the gardens at the 18th in preparation for mulching, cleaning of the bush toilets, planting in of more clivea plants, watering the greenspace gardens, the pots at the tranquility garden, bike garden and ladies 9th tee, mulching of the gardens and watering the Xanadu garden and 1st and 10th gardens, mulching some of the garden area at the 1st and 10th tees.

We enjoyed our morning tea in the sunshine this morning after a hard mornings work.  Thank you to Barto for his continued support supplying our morning tea.

Our new pole chainsaw was put to work today and we can thank the supporters of our wood sales which financed the purchase of our tools which maintain our course.

YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
