We experienced the Fremantle Doctor today while visiting the WACA at Perth WA. We were on tour of the grounds and were sitting in the stands when the Doctor arrived. I can't imagine how anyone can sit comfortably at the WACA while the Fremantle Doctor is blowing. We were freezing within minutes.
We had small sprinkles of rain today which did not interfere with our day. After our tour of the WACA we toured the Royal Mint (no gold on discount sale there), the East Perth railway station where we will be catching the Indian Pacific Home and finished off the afternoon with a visit to the Harbour Town Outlet Shops for some bargain shopping.
Tonight we had dinner at the Fremantle Sailing Club with a schoolfriend of Mark's - Ray Moir and his wife Christine who are members of the sailing club.
We had a very enjoyable golf free day. Tomorrow (weather permitting) we are playing golf at Mount Lawley.
The Golf Event of the Day at Gosford was a Ladies Single Stableford - Over the Field.
We had 28 starters.
