We concentrated on the Chipping green garden today, trimming the Camelias into a tidy hedge and weeding the gardens as best we could.
We had 14 volunteers this morning to work on our projects which made a huge difference to the course and surrounds.
On hand we had Sam Knox, Duncan Dyer, Kevin O’Brien, Trevor Harrison, Rob Benson, Frank Potter, John Hollebon, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, Laurelle Freeman, Carolyn Buttsworth, Lyn Bates, Leeanne Binns and Jan Martin.
Projects worked on today were tree maintenance; Hedge maintenance; Loose Timber and rubbish pick up around the course; weeding and tidy up of the 2nd tee ladies garden; tidy up of the 3rd Mens Tee Garden and the Ladies 3rd Tee Garden; Tidy up and mulching of the 8th tee garden; filling in of divots and low areas on the fairways; Trimming of the Camelia hedge at the chipping green and reveal of weeds at the chipping green garden and the front of clubhouse gardens.
We earned our morning tea of fresh sandwiches after a hard mornings work.
