We escaped rain this morning which allowed us to move on with our projects. The course was very busy with a Vets Competition however we did manage to get some good work done.
On hand we had Sam Knox, Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Kevin O’Brien, Rob Benson, David Medcalf, Frank Potter, Peter Martin, Carolyn Buttsworth, Lyn Bates, Bev Way and Jan Martin.
The ongoing showers and rain have encouraged the weeds in the gardens to grow while we are looking at them.
Projects worked on today were tree maintenance; Loose Timber and rubbish pick up around the course; a new battery installed in our blue course car; maintenance to the lawn mower; tidy up of the gardens at the 2nd Ladies Tee Garden; Blowing of the paths to the 1st and 10th tees; weeding of the gardens at the chipping green; mowing of the lawn area at the 18th tee; filling in divots and holes in the fairways; weeding of the front entrance gardens; weeding the BBQ Gardens and removal of rubbish there.
We put in a good mornings work and appreciated our morning tea of fresh sandwiches.
